- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
- Must be able to work 8 hour days.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays since we are open 7 days per week.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Position may either be full-time or part-time. *Skills*
- Work experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
- Microsoft Office
- Must have computer experience
- Must be able to count cash/process credit cards accurately
- Must be able to answer phones & always interact with customers in a professional manner
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Customer service attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 - 28 per week Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed Education:
- High school or equivalent (required) Experience:
