**What you'll do**

**The day-to-day**
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Tactical Gateway business area, setting clear objectives and initiatives to drive growth and profitability.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers and Lead Engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities to expand the company's footprint, leveraging cutting-edge offerings to meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.
- Program Execution: Oversee the full lifecycle of programs, from shaping requirements and capture to proposal, negotiation, execution, and contract closeout, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and performance goals.
- Customer Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving repeat business.
- Financial Management: Manage the financial performance of the Tactical Gateway business area, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation, to achieve annual revenue growth targets
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks to program success.

**What you'll need**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within the defense technology sector, with a track record of driving revenue growth and successfully executing large-scale programs.
- Working knowledge of the Federal procurement process (including IDIQs, OTAs, BAAs, and other acquisition instruments).
- Demonstrated expertise in Department of Defense, specifically US Air Force and Special Operations, strategy.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
- Proven ability to think strategically, identify market trends, and capitalize on new opportunities to drive business growth.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility.
- Former US Military experience preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Active Secret clearance.

**Salary range**

$200,500.00 - $361,100.00 / annually
