KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Tax to join our Finance & Accounting Partner Taxes organization.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with the preparation of state composite, partnership, and withholding tax filings for the KPMG partnership; this role is internal and not client-facing
- Prepare the extension and quarterly estimated payment requests and vouchers
- Participate in testing partner deliverables using developed testing templates
- Develop and maintain process and procedure documents
- Utilize in-house software to generate partner deliverables
- Help with ad-hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of recent tax or public accounting experience; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field from an accredited college or university
- Experience assisting with the preparation of income tax returns, preferably with respect to partnership tax filings
- Experience with Thomson Reuters GoSystem and BNA Superforms tax software a plus
- Ability to manage competing priorities under tight timelines and a desire to perform in a high-energy team environment
