- Checks the forklift routinely to ensure it maintains gas or electrical charge, oil and water
- Must be able to change forklift batteries
- Properly disposes of waste materials
- Adheres to common safety practices and rules; including the wearing of protective equipment and clothing as required
- Responsible for supporting the BRC program within the scope of the job function
- Responsible for adhering to food and employee safety and plant security rules
- Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Food Safety requirements to ensure high product integrity
- Must not leave assigned area unless given permission by lead, supervisor and/or management
- Must be able to work independently
- Reports any questionable product, as it relates to quality, to Quality Assurance or the Plant Manager
- Performs other duties as assigned by plant management
