- TDS Coordinator Job Description**Primary Function**
- This is an administrative position. The TDS (Tailored Day Services) Coordinator must be an organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and dependable individual. This position requires the TDS Coordinator to assist with office work by scheduling and facilitating various team and client meetings, working with the TDS & FMS administrative staff to support the objectives in conjunction with ICAN values and policies, writing and overseeing the scheduling, creation of new curriculum, and support systems. Additionally, the TDS Coordinator will assist with fieldwork by covering for TDS Coaches and supervising client activities. This position supports and fosters client choice. The TDS Coordinator reports directly to the TDS & FMS Manager.**Schedule**
- This is a full time, in-person position.-
- Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm with a half-hour unpaid lunch break**Benefits**- Vacation and Sick Pay-

- Must be able to consistently arrive on time and maintain regular attendance-
- Must be able to multitask and work independently-
- Must be able to meet schedules and deadlines-
- Must be an organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and dependable individual-
- Must follow all the rules and regulations listed in ICAN’s Policy and Procedures Manual and ICAN’s Code of Conduct and Ethics-
- Must be comfortable working with and directly caring for people with developmental disabilities, whether in a controlled environment or in the community**Education, Experience, and Knowledge**- Must have minimum of two years of college, preferably in a human services field, or two years of experience in a human services delivery system serving people with disabilities-
- One year of experience working with people with disabilities preferred but not required-
- Must have adequate typing skills-
- Must be fluent in English and have basic English writing and grammar skills-
- Bilingual in Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or ASL a plus**Licenses and Other Requirements**- Must have the ability to pass tuberculosis skin test-
- Submit to a fingerprint clearance through LiveScan before starting employment-
- Must be CPR and First Aid certified or be willing to complete CPR and First Aid certification-
- Must be CPI certified or willing to complete prevention-first training at hire-
- Must have reliable transportation. If taking public transportation, must have the ability to travel to job sites and hiring locations in the South Bay, West Los Angeles, and/or greater Long Beach areas. If using a private vehicle, valid California Driver’s License or valid driver’s license from another state at the time of interview and throughout employment with a clean three year driving record. Willingness to submit to DMV background check and provide evidence of current auto registration and liability insurance.**Physical Demands and Working Conditions**- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time-
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 70 pounds including pushing a wheelchair-
- Working in indoor and outdoor environments, as well as traveling**Professional Development**- The TDS Coordinator must attend and lead portions of regularly scheduled monthly training for approximately two (2) hours as professional development of the Coordinator and the staff. The TDS Coordinator must lead a monthly training meeting at least three (3) times per calendar year. Meetings may be facilitated in person, via video conference, or via on-demand videos.**Essential Responsibilities**- Be a key and active member of the team by interviewing and training new TDS coaches-
- Facilitate ongoing team professional development through monthly TDS coach meetings and training, with the end goal of providing the highest quality services to client-
- Attend intake and semi-annual meetings and other goal review/progress meetings-
- Assist clients in FMS and clients in Community Based Internships with the setup of their ADP APP and work as a team to ensure the highest accuracy of their work hours.-
- Work collaboratively with the TDS Case Manager to develop individualized client service plans that reflect the goals and interests including the implementation of client IPP and objectives in accordance with the Regional Center-
- Efficiently manage the client authorizations and effective utilization of the hours authorized when scheduling the respective client’s appointments with staff. Plan schedules of staff and clients to ensure the best matchups of staff skills to client-tailored growth goals.-
