**Compensation**

Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

**Position Summary**

Summary:
The Data Analyst is responsible for providing timely and accurate data collection and analysis, for multiple aspects of the Quality Management and Patient Experience programs. The Data Analyst also supports the teams in creating processes to maintain quality outcomes and improve performance where needed

**Qualifications**

Responsibilities:
**Education Required**
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- Bachelor’s Degree

**Experience And Skills**
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Must be expert with Excel and pivot tables.
- Should be familiar data mining techniques and basic statistical analysis.
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
- Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.
- Prepare data for presentations using data visualization tools.
- Experience with analyzing healthcare related patient experience and quality data preferred
