**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
The Director of Special Programs is a key programmatic leadership role responsible for the operational success of a portfolio of high-priority initiatives and programs. This individual will report to the CEO and work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and execution of these critical projects. The Director of Special Programs will be responsible for leading and directing the day-to-day administration, operations, staff and reporting of these programs. The Director of Special Programs will also be a key participant in outreach and seeking out additional such programs to increase the impact of Anthos|Home.

**Key responsibilities include the ability to**:

- Lead and manage special housing-related programs for the organization to achieve outcome-driven programming, including a Rapid Rehousing Contract, tenant aftercare services, a Moving On contract, and others.
- Recruit, manage, develop and evaluate staff for these programs including providing support, training and performance management to build the capacity of staff to accomplish these program goals as set forth under these contracts.
- Manage all program grants/contracts processes. Ensure compliance, and measure outcomes and deliverables in connection with the work.
- Develop and implement comprehensive program plans, timelines, and budgets for each initiative, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders to coordinate resources, resolve issues, and drive project progress.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage project communications, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring transparency and effective information flow.
- Continuously evaluate processes and implement improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Represent the organization in external meetings, presentations, and conferences related to special projects.
- Identify new opportunities for similar projects to enhance funding and build on Anthos|Home's strengths as an organization.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the special program teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:
**Additional skills include**:

- Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing complex, multi-faceted projects from concept to completion.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong leadership and management abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is preferred.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**:

- Competitive Pay: $115,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications;
- WFH/Hybrid work: 3 days required in the office each week;
