Join our team as a full-time social studies teacher at Buxmont Academy's Tatamy Creek campus in Easton, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic journeys. As a social studies teacher, you will have the chance to foster critical thinking skills in a supportive educational environment.

Buxmont Academy has 6 campuses in southeastern PA and uses restorative practices to encourage students to grow academically and emotionally. Classes are small with a high teacher to student ratio, and our staff work together as a part of an educational team for each student.

To excel as a social studies teacher at Buxmont Academy, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You should have a passion for history and education, along with the ability to engage and inspire students. Excellent organizational skills and the flexibility to adapt lesson plans to students' needs are crucial for success in this role. Proficiency in educational technology tools and software is preferred, including learning management systems and interactive classroom resources. Experience in differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students is a plus.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in high stress situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The capacity to work effectively both independently and with a team.
- Proficient computer skills.
