Sun Air Jets is seeking a FBO Operations Manager to create the tactics and overall plans for achieving department goals. This position will oversee all aspects of the Fixed Base Operations (FBO) and facilities management, including leading the Customer Service, Line Service, and Custodian teams.

Essential Job Functions
- Lead the various client service and sales products provided by the company to maximize fuel sales and hangar rent, while at the same time providing the highest possible level of customer service at the FBO for internal and external customers and tenants.
- Manage a team of customer service representatives, line service technicians and custodians, ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed while ensuring the highest level of safety and service during ramp operations and aircraft staging.
- Manage all aspects of the facilities, including building maintenance and tenants.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to provide input and content to the marketing team to maximize exposure of the facility on appropriate social media platforms and the company website.
- Create, assist, and advise on new marketing initiatives/strategies to aggressively capture new business and expand the company's market share in Camarillo.
- Provide input as requested on annual budgets for fuel sales and hangar and office rent.
- Cultivate relationships with the business partners and vendors and coordinate and participate in both internal and external events or functions as necessary to promote the business.
- At all times will ensure adherence to safety, security, and quality standards established by the company.
- Perform leadership and management functions such as conducting annual reviews, making hiring decisions, and managing the performance of direct reports which includes mentoring and skill development.
- Evaluate available training resources. Advise management concerning training requirements, methods, and sources.
- Process Hazard and Incident Reports for the purpose of identifying and eliminating or mitigating workplace hazards.
- Ensures compliance and employee adherence to Sun Air Jets Employee Handbook, Policies and Procedures, and Safety Management System.
- Other duties as determined by VP of Business Operations.

Required Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (previous work experience will be considered if no degree).
- 3+ years in a management role.
- Prior leadership roles and experience in an aviation environment preferred.
- Principles and practices in all aspects of FBO Operations.
- Aviation/invoicing software experience preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has supervisory responsibilities for activities within the FBO department. This position does have direct subordinates and is responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training management-level staff.
