As the Digital Excellence Director, you'll take the lead in shaping and directing our digital product/services management process. You won't just observe; you'll actively contribute to AACN's mission of providing nurses with top-notch tools and services to excel in their practice. By collaborating closely with our business partners and cross-functional teams, you'll seamlessly integrate expertise from various departments. **Position Purpose**:The Digital Excellence Director is accountable for leading efforts to achieve excellence in digital product and program development, digital project delivery, and non-digital project management. This position regularly assesses the organization's progress toward digital goals and examines digital approach issues that may impact the organization's future growth by delivering superior digital products and services. The Digital Excellence Director will support digital strategy, focusing on areas such as product lifecycle management, continuous improvement/delivery, and change management. The role will work closely with the digital teams and across the AACN community.
This role encompasses strategic planning, project execution, product innovation, and ensuring digital and non-digital solutions consistently meet and exceed customer expectations. The Director of Digital Excellence drives cross-functional collaboration, streamlines processes, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement to deliver superior digital products and services and effectively manage non-digital projects.
A member of the Strategic Council Team, the Digital Excellence Director collaboratively plans for and regularly assesses the organization's progress toward its goals; examines issues that may impact the organization's future health and growth and determines solutions; and explores and facilitates decisions on emerging advocacy opportunities. As part of the Strategic Council Team, the Digital Excellence Director develops strategic plans and identifies organizational strengths and weaknesses in order to achieve opportunities and growth in concert with other top management members.
**Main Accountabilities**:
- Oversees digital planning and strategies.- Develops and executes a comprehensive digital product strategy aligned with digital teams, stakeholders, and organizational goals.-
- Develops and executes strategic plans and collaborates closely with product managers to define roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure product excellence.-
- Co-leads planning and/or the implementation of digital strategies and initiatives. Incorporate user feedback and market insights to drive innovation in digital product development.-
Directs development and integration of comprehensive structures and systems to optimize the digital team operations and goals.- Participates in strategic planning and/or the implementation of key business strategies.-
- Monitors project progress and resolves any issues that may arise. Applies project management expertise to non-digital initiatives, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.-
- Oversees the end-to-end execution of digital projects, ensuring high quality, efficiency, and timeliness standards.-
Ensures authentic leadership and development of department team members.- Coaches and creates opportunities for individual and group development. Provides meaningful recognition for a job well done.-
