Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain scalable ETL data pipelines that ingest multiple large datasets, including structured financial transaction data and unstructured textual data.
- Develop entity resolution and other transformations for clean data integration and usage.
- Maintain a multi-model data storage system that supports scalable and real-time processing for production-level data.
- Collaborate with the data science team to ensure efficient integration and deployment of UI solutions into the AI/ML platform.
- Take ownership of solution outcomes and present findings and insights to stakeholders effectively.
- Assist the data science teams with processing and integrating data analysis to derive valuable insights.
- Clearly document processes, methodologies, and tools used, ensuring knowledge is effectively shared within the team and with stakeholders.

Qualification Requirements:

- Master’s degree in a relevant technical field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Statistics.
- 5+ years of experience working as a data scientist in a financial organization, preferably at a federal financial regulator (e.g., SEC, FDIC, CFTC, FRB).
- 5+ years of experience in Python development, with strong familiarity in working with structured and unstructured large datasets.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with the AWS ecosystem, including tools, services, and resources that enable scalable and distributed compute.
- Experience with containers and orchestration tools such as Airflow, Docker, and CI/CD.
- Experience with UI development tools like Streamlit or BI tools like Tableau.
- A deep curiosity and passion for data, demonstrating a strong and extensive understanding of data.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey insights and findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- U.S. Citizenship is required, and public trust clearance is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
