New England TMJ Associates is a leading dental practice specializing in TMJ and Sleep Apnea treatment. We are seeking a dynamic and organized Administrative/Clinical Dental Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of our practice, supporting our TMJ/Sleep Apnea specialist dentist, and ensuring a seamless patient experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate patient check-ins and appointment reminders.
- Prepare necessary documents and assist in patient rooming.
- Maintain detailed treatment notes and manage patient charts.
- Assist in the coordination of post-appointment tasks, including scheduling and payment collection.
- Manage patient intake forms and maintain accurate records.
- Track appliance orders and communicate with patients regarding delivery.
- Handle incoming mail and scan documents into patient charts.
- Distribute finished notes to patients and referring providers.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a dental assistant preferred.
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of TMJ and Sleep Apnea treatment is a plus but not required.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 17 - 21 per week
