Property Manager

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Oversee the collection of rent and ensure timely payment from tenants.
- Handle tenant inquiries and complaints, resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure prompt response to repair requests and maintenance needs.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify any areas requiring attention or improvement.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, including lease agreements, rent rolls, and tenant files.
- Advertise and market available rental units to attract prospective tenants.
- Screen potential tenants by conducting background checks and verifying references.
- Enforce lease agreements and address any violations or breaches of contract.
- Stay updated on local landlord/tenant laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants and resolve conflicts.
- Familiarity with property management software or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures related to property management, including lease agreements and eviction processes.
- Ability to negotiate leases, contracts, and vendor agreements on behalf of the property owner.
- Understanding of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to property management, including fair housing laws and Section 8 housing.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
