Fvp & Sba Team Leader

The SBA Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the underwriting, documentation, processing, and maintenance of lending products and loan files. Constructs loan portfolio in accordance with bank’s overall goals and objectives. Maintains a high level of collaboration with senior management to provide effective strategies and solutions. Reviews and structures new loans and discusses about loan products and requirements with customers as well as loan officers. Provides training and development opportunities for career advancement of department staff. Completes site visitations to new borrowers and existing borrowers.**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum seven years of experience in SBA lending required.
- Ability to retain broad knowledge of lending tasks.
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED**:
- Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Organizational ability with strong supervisory and management skills.
