**JOB SUMMARY**:
Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and equipment.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Issues tools, tool kits, and equipment to workers. Maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned.
- Reorders lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of insert types and tooling used in machining operations. Makes recommendations for appropriate and cost effective tooling options.
- Prepares periodic inventory and maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.
- Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment. Requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
- Inspects tools and equipment for defects or wear and reports concerns to supervisors.
- Keeps tool storage area sufficiently stocked, well organized, and efficient.
- Marks and identifies tools and equipment.
- Sharpens used drill bits to usable specifications.
- Establishes guidelines for jobs and tasks that need to be performed by the second shift attendant.
- Executes continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Proceeds under general supervision.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of and conformity with Ace Precision Quality System work instruction requirements that govern tool crib operations.
- Maintains or exceeds production standards through efficient organization and planning.
- Follows and complies with safety policies and procedures.
- Accurately completes all required documentation.
- Meets attendance policy requirements.
- Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas as needed.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with one year related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**:
Ability to read English, and understand sketches, routings, product specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and other Company stakeholders.

**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals and fractions.
