Typhoon Texas is seeking a reliable, organized office employee to join our team. The office staff is responsible for providing support to Team Members and Leadership, as well as the Food and Beverage Department as a whole. They will maintain correspondences, files, spreadsheets, and daily operating files. Will relieve F&B Management of administrative and business details and maintain confidentiality. They will also maintain office administrative duties, including answering phones, composing, sending, and receiving correspondence regarding Team Member issues; sorting, preparing, and prioritizing files, maintaining files to ensure effective preparation of materials, the flow of information, and management of schedules.

**Department Qualifications**:

- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be open and willing to learn new things
- Must be flexible, adaptable, and a team player
- Must follow all health department requirements
- Understands and supports the Typhoon Texas Culture
- Uses excellent judgment and maintains confidentiality
- Identifies problems and works quickly to find solutions
- Works effectively with others, on all levels, in a positive and professional manner
- Has excellent communication skills which include the ability to use clear, concise, and grammatically correct written and oral language
- Must be willing to complete all tasks given by Typhoon Texas management

**General Duties and Requirements**:

- Collaborate with management to complete necessary projects; work independently on prior delegated tasks
- Ensure an organized, clean, and tidy workspace
- Maintain and re-stock office supplies as needed
- Monitor and use office equipment and materials (computers, printers, copiers, physical files, etc.)
- Report any problems with office equipment; help resolve the issues if possible
- Help leadership to immediately resolve and mediate team member complaints
- Greet team members/vendors and direct them to the correct staff member
- Maintain office filing and storage systems
- Update and maintain databases such as certification lists, contact lists, and team member information
- Type documents, reports, and correspondence
- Must be able to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work well with others
- Must be able to communicate effectively

**Key Skills and Competencies**
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Organization and planning skills
- Work management and prioritizing skills
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Computer literate; proficient using Google Drive and Microsoft Office
- Confident using office machinery (printers, photocopiers, etc.)
- Fast and proficient typist
- May be required to stand for long periods of time
- May be required to lift at least 20-50 lbs.
- May be occasionally exposed to direct sunlight, hot temperatures, or rain.
- Must be able to multitask and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work well with others
- Must be able to communicate effectively
