**Event Production Assistant**

Revelry Event Designers is seeking an exceptionally talented, resourceful, and detail oriented Production Assistant. We are seeking to hire an experienced event Production Assistant to work closely with senior leadership, provide support to the Production Manager, and directly with department supervisors. Our employees are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a professional and courteous manner, to exercise good judgment in the discharge of their responsibilities, and to conduct themselves in a manner that can be supported by management.

Pay Range: $20-$28

**Job Type**: Non-Exempt / Full-time

Reporting to the Production Manager.

**Production Assistant Job Responsibilities**:

- Follow company policies and safety protocols.
- Overtime needs to be approved and is only granted on specific occasions when we are over production capacity.
- Assisting the Production Manager with administrative tasks like production schedules and materials, etc.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of the production processes from start to finish.
- Assist with management of production costs, procedures, quality control, deadlines, and the obtaining of materials through the purchasing protocol, and equipment.
- Be proactive to help streamline production under the supervision of the Production Manager.
- Complete damage/repair reports on a timely basis
- Overseeing quality control throughout the production process and the returning items.
- Ensuring that production is completed before deadlines.
- Updating the Production Manager on the status of projects.
- Responsible for updating, tracking, and checking inventory.
- Report labor disputes or complaints to Production Manager.
- Responsible for uploading invoices to the profit & loss file folder.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills toward liaising with other departments.
- Availability to work extended hours to meet deadlines, when necessary.
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with employees and management
- Work closely with the upper management team to provide seamless support to the group using real-time prioritization.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, team-oriented philosophy, and problem-solving skills.
- Work with internal teams (supervisor & Production Dept.) to enhance results of confirmed orders.
- Provide ongoing and compelling communication to our internal teams and external teams to increase results of events efforts
- Grace under pressure, and the ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice.
- Impeccable attention to detail.

**Work Hours & Benefits**
- This position will be stationed in the office Monday-Friday 8am-4pm with occasional overtime and weekends

**Production Assistant Qualifications / Skills**:

- Able to multitask complex projects with little to no guidance, react appropriately to situations requiring a quick turnaround, and take effective action without knowing the complete picture.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, working with both clients and internal teams
- An understanding of applicable disciplines, such as lighting, fabrics, staging, graphics, décor, measurements, etc.
- Strong digital skills (Mac based)
- Note-taking ability and tracking action items with various tasks with a high level of organization skills
- Ability to order and track materials inventory.
- Highly resourceful and a strong sense of self-motivation
- Strong attention to detail.
- An understanding of the creative process and what constitutes great work
- Proven ability to coordinate small scale events involving multiple disciplines
- Experience with successfully working behind the scenes to make things happen
- Strong ability to be flexible in scopes of projects, personalities, systems and a growing company
- Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills.
- Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- 5+ years of executive assistant experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a must
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Attention to detail, understanding business priorities, organizational skills, meeting tight deadlines
- A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
- Professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company is critical
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools.
