Wood Worker

**Special Knowledge/Skills**:

- Knowledge of equipment, materials, methods, practices, and tools used in Millwork
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
- Ability to measure and perform mathematical computations
- Ability to work independently
- Familiar with plastic laminate and lamination techniques
- 2 years commercial millwork experience, preferred

**Major Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Plan and complete lamination of reception desk die walls, countertops, and cabinet components requiring hand edgebanding using oral instructions, plans, specifications, blueprints, and work orders.
- Receive and complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean and remove scraps and lumber as needed.
- Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, etc.
- Displays tolerance necessary for accepting supervision for criticism of duty performance.
- Works in harmony with supervisory and peer personnel.
- Is task-focused and does not socialize excessively.
- Is prompt at arriving at workstation at the beginning of each working day.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
