POSITION**:Family Engagement Coordinator**
LOCATION: District Wide
- WORK SCHEDULE: 34.5 hours per week, 180 school days
- STARTING: 2024-2025 School Year
- SALARY: Competitve hourly salary and benefits
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social work or related field; Bilingual skills in Portuguese, demonstrates knowledge, competence and interest in serving culturally disadvantaged families. Demonstrates organizational, interpersonal, oral, written and technology skills.
- SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides casework services to all students and parents to assist in correcting educational difficulties (monitoring students through classroom, Title 1) serves as a liaison between home and school and makes home visitations as needed, coordinates all activities with the activities and goals of the assigned school, assists parents in obtaining appropriate services through local agencies in order to promote educational adjustment and success, plans for and presents workshops for parents, maintains records as required, attends Title I and building meetings as required. Performs other such duties as may be assigned by the Building Principal, Title 1 Supervisor.
