**RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**:
**Student Programming**:Coordinates multiple LCs for event planning, organization, advertising, implementation, and assessment to engage students in co-curricular programming throughout the year with a focus on increased engagement and participation of scholarship recipients in the LC/LLC Program. Works with campus partners to coordinate and implement LC scholarship recipient activities in line with scholarship requirements and expected outcomes. Coordinates Learning Communities on campus events and off-campus field trips with appropriate campus offices to ensure student safety and compliance with campus regulations with a particular focus on applicable scholarship recipients. Participates in development and delivery of training for Embedded Peer Mentors (EPMs), and cross-training for EPMs with LC/LLC faculty teams. Oversees a team of Embedded Peer Mentors (ISAs) supporting LC/LLCs and chairs weekly team meetings, as needed. Supports hiring of EPMs and serves as timesheet approver for LC/LLC EPM hours. Conducts EPM classroom observations and shares feedback to review performance.

**LC Scholarship Recipient Recruitment & Assessment**:Works with partners in Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Affairs, Housing and Residential Education for Living-Learning Communities, Student Academic Success and Equity Initiatives (SASEI), and Orientation for the recruitment, retention, and placement of students into Learning Communities with a focus on applicable scholarship recipients. Supports and participates in campus wide meetings for outreach, recruitment to LCs, promotion at Admitted Dolphin Day, pre-registration process, Island View Orientation, enrollment, and summer student communication efforts to fill learning community seats, especially for recruitment and retention of applicable scholarship recipients. Prepares and maintains records for tracking of applicable scholarship recipients in first year learning communities and reports up the information to campus partners, as required. Serves as a point of contact for questions and inquiries as it pertains to applicable scholarship students in learning communities. Collaborates with scholarship program support in SASEI to coordinate, plan, communicate, market, and implement relevant events and programs in support of applicable scholarship recipients in the first-year learning communities.

Coordinates the collection of course level and LC/LLC cohort data and together with the Director and faculty researchers coordinates the development of research and analysis protocols and projects. Coordinates robust assessment, using disaggregated data, of student success through HIPs to facilitate continuous improvement toward achievement of Strategic Initiatives and scholarship retention goals. Works with partners in Academic Affairs to coordinate timelines, processes, communication, marketing, advising, and registration to ensure quality, promote equitable educational outcomes, and allow for robust assessment of LC/LLCs and its connection to scholarship students. Recommends solutions to problems and changes in program procedures to LC Director based on review of assessment data, observations, and feedback from program participants (students, EPMs, and faculty).

**General Program Support**:Works in Canva and other digital platforms to create marketing flyers, event promotions, social media posts, etc. to foster engagement with Learning Communities programming. Supports maintenance of budget records for program funding for LC and scholarship recipient events, speakers, field trips, etc. Supports Learning Community Faculty Collaboration Institute planning and implementation. Supports the recruitment, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of EPMs and Student Assistants in the LC Program. Serves as a contributing member to departmental and campus wide committees, programs, and initiatives that align with the LC program mission including search committees, ad-hoc task force teams, and other related campus committees.

Maintains databases, Qualtrics survey instruments and results, and research projects. Represents Learning Communities and HIPEE to different campus departments and programs and events, as requested.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION**:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited, four-year university. Two Years of prior work experience, preferably in higher education or a related field.
