Live-in Caregiver

**Live and work in the same place while paying $0 rent in exchange for overnight sleep hours worked**

**Creative Community Living Services** of Madison is looking for a live-in caregiver to assist our clients in a professional and compassionate manner.

We are hiring for a live-in position providing in-home support to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Work with our friendly staff to create a schedule that works for YOU Available shifts can include days, evenings, overnights.

**ACTUAL SCHEDULE**:

- **Sunday through Thursday Overnights 9pm to 6am**:

- **Monday through Friday 6am - 10am**:

- **Hours in the AM and PM and or weekends to make full-time hours if desired.**

**Stay Bonus: $500 Stay bonus given after completing 6 full months of employment**

**Responsibilities**
- Help clients take prescribed medication
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

**Skills**
- Proven experience as a caregiver
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance

High school diploma or equivalent

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
