**Starting Salary**:$59,987.20

The Prenatal and Early Childhood Program Coordinator is responsible for the administrative oversight and integration of the State Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program, which aids and supports health related services for clients of the NATIVE HEALTH Prenatal Clinic and Women’s Infant and Children (WIC). The goal of the position is to increase early and adequate prenatal, postpartum, and inter-conception care for women in Maricopa County, as well as promote optimal development of their children from birth through age two.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- ** Staff Management & Support** - Leads and manages CHWs through mentoring, coaching, and supervision, ensuring staff are oriented, trained and supported to successfully meet organizational and programs' goals and objectives.
- ** Program Management & Development** - Oversees program budget and program performance by analyzing data and reporting trends. Assures quality and compliance with NATIVE HEALTH policies and procedures as well as within contract/grants’ rules, regulations, and standards.
- ** Responsible for coordination, implementation, and data collection of State MIECHV Program and Family Spirit Curriculum. **The integral components will provide culturally focused, strengths-based services to families with children 0-2 years of age.
- ** Internal Department** Leadership & External Partnerships/ Collaboration - **As a coordinator within the CHW Department, expectations include collaborating and supporting other CHW and NH programs as well as services. Serves as role model for the agency, department, and community. May be assigned in acting leadership roles and to fill in for senior management duties. Serves on the CHW leadership team.
- ** Supports the organization as needed.**

**Qualifications** QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS**:

- Master’s degree (preferred), Bachelor’s degree required in Educational Studies (Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Design), Public Health, and/or Health Care Management or related discipline.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of supervisory experience and staff oversight is required.

**Standard Employment Requirements**
- Must possess a valid and unrestricted Arizona driver’s license (within 30 days of hire if applicant is from out-of-state) with no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions in the last five years. No more than two at-fault accidents in the last three years. Must maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license during employment. Must be insurable under NATIVE HEALTH’s liability auto policy.
- Must pass a criminal background check and obtain a Class I Fingerprint Clearance Card within the initial ninety (90) calendar days of employment and retain a valid card while employed with NATIVE HEALTH.
- Must pass substance abuse testing upon employment and submit to random testing during employment.
- Must provide an updated immunization (IZ) record at the time of employment.
- Must have a current (within 12 months) Tuberculosis (TB) skin report upon employment and provide an annual update.
- Must obtain a First Aid/CPR Card within (90) calendar days of employment and maintain a valid CPR Card during employment.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABLITIES**:

- Knowledge of grant funded programs and grant management.
- Knowledge of maternal, infant, and child outreach programs.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be proficient in computer skills, experience with MS Office programs, and government reporting systems.
- Culturally competent and responsive. Able to work with a diverse workforce and client population.
- Flexible and able to work in various positions within NATIVE HEALTH.
- Professional integrity and excellent work ethic.
- Ability to recruit staff, understand retention, and conduct staff evaluations.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, excellent organizational skills and good time management.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions/concerns from parents.
- Ability to conduct small and large group presentations and/or classes.
