**Position Summary**: The EDI Coordinator is responsible for the administration, coordination, and maintenance of the company's EDI systems. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the accurate and timely exchange of electronic documents related to orders, invoices, shipping notices, and other business-critical information. The EDI Coordinator will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues, implementing improvements, and providing support to ensure efficient and reliable EDI operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **EDI Management**:

- Administer and monitor EDI transactions to ensure successful data interchange.
- Manage and maintain EDI mapping and configuration specific to the apparel industry.
- Coordinate with trading partners to set up and test new EDI relationships, including retailers, suppliers, and logistics partners.

**Troubleshooting and Support**:

- Identify, analyze, and resolve EDI-related issues in a timely manner.
- Provide technical support to internal teams (e.g., sales, logistics, finance) and external partners regarding EDI processes.
- Monitor EDI systems and proactively address potential problems, ensuring mínimal disruption to business operations.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Create and maintain documentation for EDI processes, procedures, and mappings.
- Generate regular reports on EDI performance and issues, ensuring the general manager is informed.
- Maintain records of EDI transactions and communications for compliance and auditing purposes.

**Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve EDI processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement EDI enhancements and updates.
- Stay current with EDI standards and technologies to recommend best practices, particularly those relevant to the apparel industry.

**Compliance and Security**:

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, retailer requirements, and regulations related to EDI.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect EDI data, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in EDI coordination, preferably within the apparel or retail industry.
- Familiarity with EDI software and tools.
- Familiarity with shipping companies such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL among others.
- Shipping and logistics experience with department stores.

**Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

**Technical Skills**:

- Knowledge of EDI mapping and translation tools.
- Understanding of networking and data communication protocols.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., MOD2) and apparel-specific software is a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
