Spanish Teacher

**Responsibilities**:
- Plan a study program that meets students' needs, interests, and abilities
- Create a safe classroom environment conducive to learning and encouraging students to take risks
- Prepare lessons with best practices and accommodations for individual student differences
- Show written evidence of class preparation upon supervisor's request
- Guide learning process toward curriculum goals and communicate objectives to students
- Use various instructional techniques and media based on best practices, content knowledge, space limitations, and student needs
- Implement College Achieve’s educational philosophy, goals, and objectives
- Assess student learning through observations, authentic performance, and formal methods
- Provide frequent feedback, information to parents, and written progress reports
- Maintain accurate records as required by law and regulations
- Assist in implementing policies and rules on student conduct
- Be available to students and parents for education-related purposes outside of regular hours
- Establish communication with students, parents, and community
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- New Jersey Spanish Teacher Certificate.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
