Our Washington D.C. team is growing and looking for a **Mobile Technician** to join our team. The **Mobile Technician** position requires a high-level of proficiency and working knowledge related to heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and repairs. The ideal technician will have experience and familiarity working with **diesel repairs, PMs, brakes, inspections and diagnostics.**

**Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm**

**Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Life Insurance**

**Compensation: $32 - $38/hour; paid weekly**

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to light and heavy duty vehicles
- Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation required
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
- Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles
- Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
- Move parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on vehicles
- Perform other duties as required

**Key Competencies and Minimum Education**
- Experience working with diesel vehicles
- Experience with heavy duty diesel repairs a plus
- Experience working on light and medium duty gas vehicles
- Experience with Box Trucks and Sprinter Vans a plus
- Experience with Inspections, PMs, oil changes, brakes, diagnostics, and electrical
- Experience with inventory management and purchase orders a plus
- Ability to interact with vendors
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work outdoors
- Must have your own toolbox

**Working Conditions**
- Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job
- Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise
- Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
- Ability to drive a Mobile Service Truck across the greater Springfield Area
