Rapidly growing, Sugar Land-based **CPA FIRM** providing accounting, tax and bookkeeping services to individuals and small businesses.
- Currently has 1 Partner/Owner and 5 professional services support staff, including 4 professionals (other than the Owner), and a part-time admin assistant.
- We enjoy a family friendly culture and provides a broad range of tax planning, consulting & compliance services to corporations, partnerships and high net worth individuals. The Firm is growing through referrals and focused business development with a focus on client development in the Sugar Land-Richmond-Rosenberg-Fulshear Area where the Owner resides.
- With continued Firm growth, the Firm needs a strong Bookkeeper to help take care of the Firm's rapidly growing client roster.

The **BOOKKEEPER's **duties are as follows:

- OVERALL - Duties include general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, credit card reconciliation, fixed asset purchases, and journal entries.
- CASH ACCOUNTING - Recording receipts & disbursements and performing cash reconciliations.
- FINANCIAL REPORTING - Preparing client financial statements.
- PAYROLL - Processing client payroll.
- TAXES - Preparing both payroll and sales tax returns for various entity types.

**PAY RATE/HOURS ET AL**:

- PAY RATE: $55,000- $65,000 per year, depending on experience
- START DATE: ASAP
- Free parking, and business casual/appropriate dress every day

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Full-Charge Bookkeeping Experience using QuickBooks or Xero.
- Intermediate Excel skills required.
- Proficient in professional written and correspondence
- Positive customer service interactions are a must
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- You need to be a self-starter We don’t micromanage, but we expect you to communicate challenges and successes with us.
