Reports to: Departmental Lead, Supervisor or Manager
, 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri
Job Location: King of Prussia, PA
**Requirements**:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- HME equipment repair experience preferred
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Equipment manufacturer repair certification preferred
- Mechanically inclined
- Good verbal/communication/organizational skills
- Strong technical skills with a good knowledge base
**Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to**:
- Testing of all Respiratory, Monitoring, related equipment
- Completes and documents routine maintenance checks of all appropriate equipment
- Barcodes all equipment, bench test new equipment when delivered from manufacturers
- Performs minor maintenance repairs on equipment following all manufacture and company guidelines
- Tags equipment appropriately, bags and stocks onto patient-ready areas per Policies and Procedures
- Clean and disinfect incoming equipment per safety standards
- Keep all patients, employees and financial information confidential, in accordance with company procedure and HIPAA Regulations
- Accepts other duties as assigned and completes them effectively
**Physical Demands**
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk, lift, open filing cabinets and bend as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies of a minimum weight of 25 pounds but no more than 50 pounds.
