**Lead Host/ Assistant Floor Manager**

**Hourly
- $18-$21 Based On Experience**

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for answering phones and taking reservations
- Manage the reservations system to effectively accommodate a high volume of guests.
- Making sure that all guest information is always current in the reservations system.
- Providing friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel well taken care of and builds their intent to return
- Assists in tasks to ensure a clean, sanitized, and safe restaurant
- Responsible to take the to-go orders via phone, check orders for accuracy and process the check for the customer

**Assistant Floor Manager Skills**:

- Contributes to a friendly, welcoming restaurant environment.
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills and leads by example.
- Performs a variety of tasks including greeting and seating customers, expediting food, cashiering, and managing front of house employees. No task is too small, including taking out the trash.
- Works under the supervision of the General Manager but relies on experience and judgment to accomplish goals and solve problems.
- Responds to guest comments and criticisms in a positive and constructive manner and works continuously to improve customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoots issues and finds suitable solutions. Creativity is required and a certain degree of latitude is given.
- Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high-volume and sets a positive example for the staff.
- Understands team dynamics and facilitates teamwork amongst the staff.
- Able to interact professionally with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Monitors compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
- Accurately handles money and makes change.

**Qualifications**
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with servers, bussers, and other staff.
- Ability to read and speak English proficiently
- Part-Time and Full-Time applicants encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 2 years high volume, full-service restaurant experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, cool, and collected under pressure
- Self-discipline; maintained professional appearance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 34 per week
