This is a 12 month position. Hours may vary due to school activities, summer work or inclement weather. May require overtime.
- **Purpose**
Perform general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds; maintains equipment in functional condition; and provides cleaning and custodial assistance to students, teachers, visitors and others as necessary. Performs related duties and general maintenance work as required.
- **Qualifications**
Knowledge of cleaning and related custodial duties is desirable. Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, machines, and equipment such as floor machines, vacuums, etc., is desirable. **Must be able to lift, pull or push 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. A 50-pound lift test will be required.** Must be able to communicate effectively with students, staff and the general public. Must be able to get along with others in a team situation.
