**Responsibilities**:

- Must be efficient, have good attention to detail and a sense of urgency in completing job tasks.
- Ability to personally perform general housekeeping tasks without endangering themselves, residents, or fellow associates when cleaning facilities.
- Responsible for maintaining a neat and attractive image of the property by cleaning all common areas including the leasing office, models, club room, fitness center, laundry facilities and restrooms daily.
- Vacant apartments will be cleaned as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Assist Maintenance team members with work orders and make-ready duties.
- Remove trash and debris from property, maintain and clean pet stations, change air filters, light bulbs, and clean common area lighting fixtures.
- Must report observations of any liability or safety concerns including but not limited to the appearance of mold, tripping hazards, lights not working, etc.
- Assist maintenance team members with quarterly preventive maintenance programs, delivery of resident notices, as well as other duties as assigned.
- Will complete all duties in a timely manner while abiding by the company’s hazardous communications program and following correct, safe work practices at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be able to perform general housekeeping skills and have knowledge of the safe use of cleaning fluids and tools.
- Ability to transport a minimum of 25 pounds at various distances, work with cleaning chemicals.
- Be able to work outdoors in temperatures exceeding 90 degrees or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Familiarity with the daily use of mops, brooms, vacuum cleaner, shampooer, scrubber, step stool, ladder (up to 6 feet), screwdriver and other miscellaneous hand tools.
- Position requires employees to wear gloves as needed.
- Must be able to drive personal or company motor vehicles without jeopardizing the safety of prospects, residents, fellow associates, and property guests.
- Individuals in this position will wear company specified maintenance uniform apparel and safety equipment when required.
- Minimum of 1 year general maintenance and housekeeping experience
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
