**Job description**

We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and driven Director of Nursing to lead our clinician-owned and operated hospice company. This key position involves overseeing the quality of patient care in the home, managing clinical departments, and ensuring effective staffing and productivity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Administrative oversight of clinical staff, including RN Case Managers, Nurse Aides, Social Workers, Chaplain/Bereavement Coordinators, and Volunteers.
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary group, patients, families, and referring agencies.
- Oversee and analyze QAPI issues and guide clinical staff on agency policies and procedures.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of management experience in a hospice setting.
- Current TX RN license.
- Reliable transportation with current insurance.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current negative TB test or equivalent.
- Availability for patient visits and supervisory duties within our service area if needed.
- Commitment to work 1 weekend of On-Call per month.
- EMR experience, WellSky experience a plus.

Pay: $87,820.00 - $100,000.00 per year
