**Job Description****:
The Process Development Scientist will be responsible for performing multiple tasks within the Process Development group in support of biologics manufacturing process. The Scientist will perform a variety of responsibilities in both a team and individual setting. This position is an on-site position.

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Developing and/or improving pharmaceutical (biologics) manufacturing processes
- Planning experiments, routine analytical measurements operating filtration systems, analyzing data, and writing reports
- Protein purification process development and improvement
- (i) Development of scale down models,
- (ii) Evaluation of new technologies
- Statistical data evaluation
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on critical instrumentation
- Buffer preparation
- Operate automated processes including process monitoring

**Qualifications** BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- BS degree in biological or related sciences
- Experience with large scale-up equipment
- Understanding of protein separation and protein purification
- Effective oral and written communications
- Strong problem-solving skills

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Ultra Filtration experience
- Pilot Plant experience
- Liquid separation experience
- Preparative Chromatography experience
- Experience using JPM, Minitab and/or Unicorn software packages
