LDa Architecture & Interiors is seeking an Interior Designer to join our collaborative team The Interior Designer will be based in LDa’s Boston office (located in the SoWa Art + Design District) and must be able to travel to project sites as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working collaboratively with LDa Principals and design teams, serve as Interior Designer for projects ranging in size and type
- Responsibilities vary for each project but may include: space planning, interior architecture, interior design, construction drawings, FF&E, and décor & styling
- Coordinate work with vendors & contractors; track project budgets; oversee ordering and scheduling; coordinate installations
- Oversee and mentor junior staff members
- Present to current and prospective clients
- Support the firm’s marketing and business development efforts

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Skills_
- Excellent design skills, with an ability to design for a range of client styles, preferences and aesthetics
- Strong project management abilities
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign & Photoshop in particular) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with purchasing software
- Proficiency in Revit is a plus
- Excellent organization and attention-to-detail
- Ability to clearly communicate design concepts to clients; strong presentation skills
- Flexibility in handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines
- Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills
- Experience & Education_
- 3-5 years of interior design work experience POST graduation
- Experience working with closely with clients
- Knowledge of building codes and ADA requirements
- Single-family residential design experience REQUIRED
- Multi-family, commercial and/or institutional design strongly preferred
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in interior design, interior architecture, or a related field
