CMM Quality Inspector (Faro Arm, Creaform & Verisurf/Laser Tracker)
Aerospace manufacturing company seeking a qualified individual will be performing mechanical inspection in aerospace machine shop environment. Dimensional and visual inspection of machined and fabricated parts for conformance to drawings and other requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operation of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), including development and maintenance of programs, set up and execution.
- Create and edit dimensional inspection programs for the CMM, both interactively and off-line.
- Working knowledge of blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Conduct CMM inspections of miscellaneous parts, gages and tooling as required.
- Manufacturing and Engineering personnel in regard to part conformance and process capability.
- Assist in training other employees in operation of CMM.
- Perform the duties of a final layout inspector as required.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Experience and Portable CMM Faro Arm, Creaform and Verisurf Experience/Laser Tracker A MUST.
- Knowledge of AS9100 certified quality systems. Ability to complete AS9100 First Article Inspections and reports.
- Ability to use basic machine shop tools, caliper, micrometer, height gage Experience and competence with MS Windows based software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and perform follow-up assignments as needed.
High School diploma or GED required. Experience: Minimum 3 years.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
