Grow a business for yourself and take control of your own destinyManage your own schedule and work out of your home officeLearn a valuable, highly marketable trade in a growing industryWhat does an Insurance Loss Control Surveyor do?Our surveyors meet with the policyholder to photograph and evaluate the overall condition of the insureds operations, buildings, and/or premises, and provide specific information to the insurance companies underwriters. Scheduling appointments with property ownersPhotograph and evaluate the overall condition of a buildingEffectively communicating via phone, email, and face to face discussionsObserve commercial and residential properties for potential areas of riskComplete a brief report of your observations and upload photos to the field service platformFollow carrier instructions and maintain quality standardsMaintain confidentiality and act with integrityLocal travel to perform field inspectionsQualifications for the ideal Independent Contractor: Car, Microsoft computer, smartphone, and reliable home internetObservant and curiousSkills in time management and verbal/ written communicationsBasic computer skills, typing, uploading, and downloading documents, email, Microsoft Outlook and Word, as well as using the internet.Background in construction, fire & safety, hospitality, real estate or previous military service is beneficial, but not required.Successful candidate must live in the geographic area advertisedLoss Control experience is not required We provide best in class training for those looking to start a field inspection business For more information apply today**Davies Risk Services is an equal opportunity employer.
