Dental Front Office Assistant

Job Summary:
We are currently looking for a dedicated Dental Front Office Assistant to join our team. As a Front Office Assistant, you will be an essential part of our dental practice, providing vital support to our dental team and ensuring the best possible care for our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-focused environment where your skills and commitment will be highly valued.

**Duties**:

- Answer phones and answer questions for patients
- Manage dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care instructions, and treatment plans.
- Verify insurance benefits for patients
- Check patients out after their appointment

**Skills**:

- Prior experience in a dental office is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental office software systems like Eaglesoft or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of medical records management and front desk operations in a dental setting.
- Understanding of medical receptionist duties or experience in urgent care or medical office settings.
- Strong grasp of dental terminology, procedures, and patient care protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and the capacity to multitask effectively.

Pay: $21.52 - $22.80 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
