Construction Estimator

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. As a Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately estimate the costs of materials, labor, and equipment required for each project. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

**Duties**:

- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Utilize construction management software, such as Buildertrend, to create detailed estimates
- Research and obtain pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors
- Evaluate bids from subcontractors and negotiate pricing as needed
- Create comprehensive bid proposals for submission to clients
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and make adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with the project team to identify value engineering opportunities

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in construction estimating or related field
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
- Proficiency in cost control and budgeting techniques
- Familiarity with Buildertrend, a plus but not required
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong negotiation skills

Pay: $60,910.86 - $73,355.01 per year
