Position Summary:
Provide security services to protect the employees, visitors, patients, and facility at regional Carle outpatient locations. Maintain a safe environment and ensure building access control measures are maintained. Officer may be called to assist with security services at other sites including the main campus.

**EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
None Required

**CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS**
Driver's License upon hire and Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) Card within 6 months.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
Security experience preferred.

**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Taser Certification, OC Pepper Foam Certification, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification

**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
Effectively communicate with employees and customers. Writing skills. Able to complete security incident reports.Essential Functions:

- Monitor perimeter and interior doors/areas and watch for unauthorized access.
- Patrol building and grounds for safety and security issues/hazards and investigate.
- Monitor cameras.
- Assist staff with potential security issues and intervene when necesary.
- Provide employees with security awareness education.
- Provide customer service support for patients, visitors and staff.
- Assist staff and visitors with Emergency Management events.
