This position will be filled by a highly motivated Avionics Technician with a passion for developmental flight test of a new and revolutionary Group 5 UAS, and experience performing maintenance and troubleshooting of aircraft and Ground Control Segment (GCS) systems. You will work heavily with the Maintenance Lead and a wide spectrum of cross-departments to help a team focused on solving hard problems and changing the industry forever. The Avionics Technician for Group 5 UAS is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upgrades of the avionics systems on large unmanned aircraft systems. This role requires a deep understanding of sophisticated electronic systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that affect the performance and safety of the aircraft.

The Test and Evaluation team at Anduril works across the entire spectrum of products and business lines, as well as all flight operations and test range management. **WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Experience with Tool Control, FOD, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft and subsystems including avionics & mission systems and other subsystems wiring
- Assemble components, such as electrical controls, junction boxes, and install software.
- Complete aircraft and equipment documentation,
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain site support equipment.
- Communicate system performance and assessment with engineering and production.
- Perform validation and testing of various electronic components using equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks.
- Assist with many aspects of autonomous drone system software.
- Possess the ability to navigate Linux software environments, execute coding commands, and manage software configuration updates in collaboration with software engineering teams.
- Build, integrate and test avionics and mission systems
- Prioritize maintenance tasks in accordance with departmental needs.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior service technicians and mechanics.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance procedures and workflows.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Able to travel as required
- Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret clearance
- 7+ years or more of Avionics, Communication/ Navigation Technician experience
- Qualification and Certification credentials, or equivalencies as a FAA APPROVED FORM 8610-2/ FAA Repairmen Certificate, Air Force 7 level in AFSC or Navy or Marine Corps Avionics CDI / QAR.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willing to be multi-capable. Which shall include some electronics troubleshooting and repair
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a fast paced, challenging work environment

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- A&P with Inspection Authorization
- Developmental test experience
- Experience reading engineering drawings, blueprints and interpret/translate instructions to specific maintenance mechanics/technicians
- Experience with avionics systems and components, preferably with Group 5 UAS or similar large aircraft
- Familiar with Linux operating systems, executing coding commands, and skilled in performing software configuration updates

**US Hourly Range**
- $51—$75 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
