**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: (Responsibilities include, but not limited to)
- Review the records in question document and forward to the QAQR department for review and approval to be released.
- Prepare the cost of records invoices and provide the invoice to the requestor.
- File and maintain patient medical records in compliance with company policy.
- Scan and upload medical record requests into the patient accounts
- Release medical records to authorized parties in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Responsible for incoming/outgoing phone calls in a courteous and professional manner and appropriately addressing their questions or concerns.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
- ** KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**:

- Attention to detail.
- Possesses intermediate knowledge of medical terminology and ambulance coding preferred.
- Knowledge of computer and office equipment.
- Ability to maintain records and files.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Continuous focus on quality with the ability to review, analyze and interpret data.
- Experienced professional with outstanding time management skills.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**_: _
- **Primarily a remote position, may require travel to Pflugerville station and/or Georgetown PO.**
- Minimum 2 years of experience performing medical billing, medical coding, verification or accounts receivable management.
