**Job Summary**:
The Inventory and Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory levels and managing the procurement process for all products associated with our granite and quartz products. This role includes maintaining optimal inventory levels, establishing strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing practices.

**Purchasing**:

- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions.
- Prepare purchase orders and place orders for products and services.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Review and analyze purchase requisitions, and ensure purchases are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain good relationships with key suppliers.
- Implement strategies to reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

**Supplier Relationship Management**:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and quality of materials.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms and conditions.
- Address and resolve any supplier-related issues promptly and effectively.

**Reporting and Analysis**:

- Generate regular reports on inventory status, purchase orders, and supplier performance.
- Provide detailed analysis and recommendations for inventory optimization and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with managemnet, sales, and production teams to align inventory and purchasing activities with overall business objectives

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the construction materials industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, purchasing practices, and supply chain management for granite and quartz products.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
