**Manufacturing Production Planner / Scheduler**

Job Summary: Join the dynamic world of Chemring Energetic Devices and play a pivotal role in shaping our success As a MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION PLANNER / SCHEDULER, you will be at the forefront of ensuring seamless scheduling, production, and inventory planning to meet customer and program delivery requirements. Your impact extends beyond our production floors—contributing to the company's ability to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget, directly influencing customer satisfaction and our overall reputation.

Essential Job Functions:
Dive into the heart of project planning by creating Microsoft Project plans for each job release, fostering effective communication between departments.

Review job/contract requirements, identifying assembly and hardware needs, and create Manufacturing Orders to trigger demand in the MRP system.

Optimize part coding and planning parameters to align with customer and business goals.

Execute hardware pulls and coordinate production capacity with hardware availability.

Contribute to month, quarter, and year-end reviews by preparing and analyzing data as requested.

Lead job review meetings, collaborating with Operations, Contracts, Engineering, Quality, and Materials to ensure comprehensive scheduling and outside process coordination.

Engage with staff at all levels, promoting effective communication within diverse teams.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

**Qualification Requirements**: To succeed in this role, you must:
Be proficient in Microsoft Project or quickly accelerate learning to build project plans from scratch.

Preferably hold a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of three years of scheduling experience; APICS certification is a plus.

Possess strong language skills for effective communication and documentation.

Demonstrate solid reasoning ability to solve practical problems in dynamic environments.

Be eligible to possess explosives under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003, as required by the ATF for all Chemring Energetic Devices employees.

Excel in writing and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment: While contributing to our success, you will:
Utilize your ability to speak and hear.

Be required to sit for 90% of the workday, occasionally standing or walking.

Use hands & fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms extended.

Experience mínimal lifting (10 pounds) and occasional lifting with assistance (up to 50 pounds).

Work in an environment occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and explosives.

Encounter a moderate noise level in the work environment, with instances requiring ear protection.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $112,000.00 per year
