Overview:

Located in Downers Grove, Illinois, our company is among the most technologically advanced gear manufacturers in the world.

The 140,000 square foot climate-controlled facility is equipped with state-of-the-art advanced cutting-edge equipment. We pride ourselves on injecting advanced manufacturing processes and being vertically integrated with world class heat treating and plating facilities.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and layout detailed manufacturing process plans for new parts utilizing Solid works (modeling and drafting) and Visual Manufacturing (ERP).
  • Review and interpret customer purchase order, drawings and specifications for incorporation into the manufacturing process plan.
  • Incorporate engineering changes to existing process plans.
  • Review existing tool and gage inventory for use in the manufacturing process plan.
  • Design and order new tooling as necessary.
  • Interacting with manufacturing to resolve issues as they are encountered.

Education & Experience & Communication:  

  • Associates/Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or a related field AND/OR 1+ years related industry experience.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of manufacturing, engineering & quality personnel.
