**Job Title**: Accounting Clerk

**Location**: Tinton Falls, NJ

**Position Type**: Full-Time

**Reports To**: Manager, Accounting

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Data Entry and Record-Keeping**:
- Enter financial transactions into accounting software.

**Accounts Payable and Receivable**:
- Process invoices, verify their accuracy, and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

**Bank Reconciliation**:
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor and maintain cash balances.

**Financial Reporting**:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Generate financial reports and summaries as required.

**Support Audits**:
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.

**Administrative Tasks**:
- Maintain filing systems and ensure proper documentation.

**Other Duties**:
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager, Accounting.

**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: 1-2 years of experience in an Accounting or Clerical role.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Benefits:
