PAY AND BENEFIT INFO

We pay our Experienced Accounting Clerks $25.00 - $30.00/hour, depending on experience. IS THIS THE JOB FOR YOU?

To succeed as our Experienced Accounting Clerk, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business applications

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
  • Must have the ability to lift and carry parcels, packages, and other items, walk short distances, and drive a vehicle.
  • This is largely a stationary role but does require walking, standing, lifting, bending, grasping, etc.

WHAT TO EXPECT AS OUR EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTING CLERK

As our Experienced Accounting Clerk, you provide invaluable support to our controller as you carry out various financial responsibilities. You play a key role in the coordination of our finances by managing functions such as payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. With a keen eye for detail, you process journal entries, review bank transactions, manage check deposits, and oversee cash applications to ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you perform month-end reconciliations and other special projects as assigned. These tasks may include reporting weekly labor key performance indicators (KPIs) and responding to emails and phone calls. You enjoy the feeling of overcoming challenges and take pride in helping keep our finances straight
