The Manager, Accounts Payable will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable functions and processes in a professional and knowledgeable manner. This position will direct and oversee the daily management of staff and processes, including full cycle accounts payable: invoice processing, invoice payment, analytics, reconciliations, and reporting.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**

**Accounts Payable (85%)**
- Oversee the day-to-day productivity and scheduling of department activities such as:

- Month-end closing reviews, procedures, and corrections.
- Integration of accounts payable work relating to acquisitions and integrations
- 1099 annual process and tax related matters
- Daily freight payable process
- Unclaimed property process to ensure adherence to company and state guidelines.
- AP inbox maintenance to ensure all invoices and vendor communications are properly addressed.
- Develop and analyze routine metrics for the AP department to drive process improvements, productivity, or efficiency enhancements, identify training or workload balancing needs.
- Manage a team of processors and analysts that are both onshore and offshore.
- Revamp the overall procure-to-pay process from purchase order initiation to disbursements for timeliness, control, and customer experience.
- Review and recommend global policies and procedures.
- Assist with internal controls and other compliance requirements.
- Perform other special projects and analyses as directed by management.

**Leadership and Management (15%)**
- Mentors, coaches, and develops employees through organized and structured programs including, but not limited to, communication of policies and rules, constructive discipline, establishment of objectives, and timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
- Lead continuous improvement, including processes, systems, and outside support targeted to improve accounts payable efficiencies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
- Foster positive relationships with internal departments and external vendor base.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Education and Experience Profile**
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field required.
- 5 - 7 years of overall accounting experience required.
- Accounts Payable management experience preferred.
- Previous management experience required.
- Accounts Payable experience in a high growth company.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement.
- Strong sense of ownership and willing to tackle challenges in a continuously changing environment.
- Ability to think Globally.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong project management skills, ability to prioritize in a fast-changing environment, strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem analysis and problem resolution at both strategic and functional level.
- Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software.
- Proficiency in SAP, Onbase, and RateLinks is strongly desired.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

**Work Environment**:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

Pay Range: $85,418-$125,280.

This “base salary range” is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location. ASSA ABLOY conducts regular review of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
