- PURPOSE OF JOB: To complete an accurate patient registration for Emergency department services-
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Accurately identify the patient and select the patient's medical record-
- Complete an accurate registration at the time of service, verifying all data fields with patient-
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits at the time of service using automated resources and document accurately-
- Identify and collect patient's copayment for Emergency services as applicable- 5. Complete all required forms and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance
**Job Qualifications**:
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School or equivalent is required-
- Experience: Hospital/Insurance experience preferred-
- Other Skills: Excellent Customer Service Skills- Negotiation and Problem Solving Skill
- Ability to prioritize and multi task
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to work productively as a team
