As a **Systems Analyst** at Discovery Federal Credit Union, you will play a vital role in supporting the technology and systems used at the credit union. This includes but is not limited to administrative and technical issues related to hardware, software, networking, system integration support, documentation, process improvement, incident escalations, and change control.

**WHAT THE SYSTEMS ANALYST WILL DO**:

- Daily operation, monitoring, configuration and maintenance of Discovery’s network, servers, firewalls, computer systems and programs.
- Configure and deploy workstations and peripheral devices.
- Maintain interfaces between the credit union’s systems and all third-party vendors.
- Analyze and test software release enhancements and subsequent patch updates; organize and coordinate internal testing teams to validate new releases and updates.
- Manage and respond to helpdesk ticket requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide professional, courteous, and timely hardware, software, and network support.
- Perform problem resolution and provide on-call support for computer/network systems.
- Research, evaluate and recommend the purchase of company-wide hardware and software systems.
- Play a key role in the planning and implementation of company-wide hardware and software systems.
- Develop and maintain internal system reports and forms integrated into the credit union’s core system.
- Record and maintain hardware and software inventories, site and/or server licensing, network diagrams, and user access and security.

**LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU**

You’ll have the following qualifications for the **Systems Analyst** position:

- Associate's degree and a minimum of 2 years of directly related experience to the duties and responsibilities specified. Or at least 4 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Proven experience in IT support roles, preferably in a financial institution, nonprofit organization or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.
- Knowledge of software development tools for report writing purposes a plus.
- Knowledge of current developments/trends in the financial services industry.
- Ability to plan, implement, test, and troubleshoot system software.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to collaborate effectively in a group setting.
- Ability to diagnose computer hardware and systems software issues, and communicate technical guidance and information to users.
- Knowledge of computer security procedures.
- Knowledge of federal copyright laws as they pertain to the use of computer software.
