CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a** Construction** **Inspector **to join our **Water/Wastewater Team** located in **Wilmington, DE.**

YOUR IMPACT:
Clean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every community’s well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects. We offer full engineering and support services for industrial and municipal systems from initial planning through permitting, design, bidding, construction administration, start-up, certification, and ongoing operational assistance.

The Construction Inspector is responsible for observing and documenting the construction of airports, highways and streets, sewer and water systems, dams, bridges, building and building systems (HVACR, electrical, plumbing, security, and communication systems), and other structures and facilities.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree in Engineering Science, Construction Management, or related technical field preferred.
- NICET Level I certification preferred
- Valid US driver's license required
- No prior experience required; however, prior construction or construction observation experience preferred
- Able to comprehend construction plans and specifications
- Understands and follows company standards, demonstrates knowledge of construction techniques, and assists mid to senior level team members with complex projects
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong mathematics skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Extensive travel may be required.

SALARY RANGE:
$50,000 - $61,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
