Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall success of our medical practice.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Obtain and record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures, such as X-rays
- Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions and treatments
- Assist with coding and billing processes to ensure accurate reimbursement
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines

**Requirements**:

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and coding practices
- Proficiency in performing basic clinical procedures, such as taking vital signs
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Familiarity with X-ray procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy

We offer competitive compensation based on experience.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
